Metaversal Fireweek Forecast (July 14-18)

Brought to you by Johannes Ayres...

THE METAVERSAL LIGHTCRAFT
HYPER-ABYSSIC ASTROLOGY FORECAST
AND LIGHT SPECIFIC YOGA PLATFORM
THE METAVERSAL FIRE WEEK FORECAST

ATZILUTH the world of FORCE/Fire
-FIRE WEEK-
First Quarter Moon
JULY 14 to JULY 18

This forecast is prepared and written in luminous tiles across your retinas. May it shine forth upon all who meet your gaze. The words grow here slick and filthy and unhindered by enterprise.

The seed/ideas we have from the New Moon to the First Quarter Moon come from the kabbalistic world of Atziluth (Fire) and are the blueprints/seeds for everything that exists, has existed, and will ever exist in the physical world of Assiah (Earth), as an embodiment of the archetypal idealized apple (or a least the Core)... Fireweek is the time to remember we're in the pilots seat of our own personal Lightcraftand make some corrections if we've veered off course. You needn't dress in any but the most perfunctory manner nor bring any crickets (there will be plenty of those!) Ah… a New Moon in Cancer, our chance to be held by the sweetness of the Divine Mother Terminal, that un-conditional love that pulsates through every living thing. With Mercury (cognitive processes) in Cancer, this is the New Moon to build a bridge from the mind to the feeling side of life. If your life has been characterized by disconnection and alienation, this is the New Moon to honestly appraise the usefulness of defending against deeply felt emotional interactions with others. This is the time to look with real compassion at the insecurities and co-dependencies that arise from refusing the conflict of existential meaninglessness and Metaversal interconnectedness. The beauty of the human heart lies is its ability to feel a full range of meta-emotional energies that arises when faced with the fundamental paradox of the human condition: we are essentially alone and ultimately one with all other existent life.

Humans seek love and relationship in order to feel whole; yet real wholeness arises from self-realization. Cancer makes everything more sensitive as it heightens the brain's natural intuitive capacities: our interactions, our ability to intuit the meta-messages of any action or statement are made real when Sun, Moon and Mercury are in Cancer. When we can sense the meta-message behind the words, we can also feel the full impact of any interaction we might have, before it occurs. We all want this I swear! Cancer is really about emotional nurturance and above all else, Cancer craves emotional security. Need I mention that it takes at least two to heal a relationship? This means that if you want to work on a relationship, this is one of the few New Moons where ritual is best done with all involved parties present and ready to do some serious work. Remember that half the battle is finding a way to express truth with love (Moon in Cancer) and a willingness to see the truth and deeper meaning of any relationship (Jupiter in Sagittarius.) And Mercury in Cancer should make it a whole lot easier to listen patiently and lovingly to the responses of others. My only warning for this New Moon is the placement of Mars (action, sexuality, anger) in Taurus (stubborn, opinionated and often close-minded) and Saturn and Venus in Leo (romance and pleasure). Venus in Leo can fire up romantic ideas about love and then Saturn can crash us into reality So do your best to be gentle and hold your emotional boundaries well.

From a macrocosmic point of view, climate change is the Metaverse’ gift to this epoch: the sheer enormity of the situation is forcing humanity, in a gun-to-the-head way, to embrace Metaversal thinking. With the fate of the Earth at stake it is easier to see that the conceptual distinction between spiritual vision and geopolitical awareness is obsolete. The Light Specific ones have our feelers out and are witnessing a far-reaching consciousness shift during this tumultuous period that is taking place under our very noses. An international consensus about the Earth’s meteorological changes has taken shape very quickly over the last couple of years, for which we have to thank not just Al Gore but the Saturn-Neptune opposition and other recent transits that have brought long-denied truths to light. Less widely discussed but getting increasing media attention is the fact that the poorer countries of the world will suffer sooner and more severely from these climate changes than will the wealthier countries of the First World. What we must come to terms with here is more than an ecological issue. In the decades ahead, the rich, who created the problem by burning fossil fuels too heavily, will get off relatively easily compared to the millions of Earth dwellers who never saw the inside of an SUV.

Informing ourselves of a reality like global warming through geopolitical awareness is a first step. But to maintain our sanity, as well as to be of some use to the world, we need to then press into service our spiritual awareness to make sense of it.From this perspective we can derive significance from the fact that climate change, seen as a fringe belief just a couple of years ago, is now pretty much common knowledge. In the USA we are even seeing an as-yet-tiny, but increasing, backlash against the automobile. People are starting to consider the implications of the fact that only 8% of the people on Earth drive these ecocidal machines; that’s a lot of damage being done by an almost impossibly tiny minority, the high fidelity, first class traveling section. Hummers dealerships burn brightly in the night, more brightly than a fire-bombed presidential motorcade, while the Greek chorus sings the death march for yet another precious species of which not one is unimportant (that last sentence shall surely gather the attention of the escalon escatological enthusiast set, as well as lovers of run on sentences with bite.). More and more American drivers are daring to look in the mirror with a new acuity of self-questioning.

Like the planets with their retrograde cycles, human consciousness seems to follow a two-steps-forward-one-step-back kind of pattern. Until now, not much has changed with Americans’ love affair with the car: in 1912 a Ford Model T got 17 miles to the gallon; today, a 2007 Ford Explorer gets 18 miles to the gallon. But at this moment in our history we are hovering over a qualitatively different threshold, and the difference is palpable. The potential exists to take several steps forward at once—indeed, to take a leap. Our newspapers are now printing pictures on their front pages of adorable white polar bears perilously balancing on melting blocks of ice; right next to news stories such as the one reporting that nine out of ten Americans travel to work by car, and of those, 88% drive alone. Readers who see these items side-by-side are beginning to connect the dots. For more and more people with every passing month, the question is no longer whether we give credence to this information. The question is, how do we hold it?

Global warming is but one of a host of monumental crises that all but the most obdurately blinkered Americans are confronting en masse. We have proposed that issues this daunting require a perspective that is more time-sensitive and place-relevant than mere spiritual truisms alone can address. “It’s all good” just doesn’t hack it. And at the same time, the issues require a more metaversal vision than mere political ideas alone can address. As those icebergs break apart, seekers of deeper Truth are finding that the whole spiritual-versus-political divide is breaking apart too. There have been visionaries in every age who took the leap to fuse the spiritual and the political. Such worthies as John Dee or Joan of Arc, for example, may have relied upon religious assumptions that we might now take issue with, and addressed very different geopolitical realities. Mahatma Gandhi’s rebellious march to the sea would not help us much as a tactic today. But the quest for the Big Picture inspired all of these individuals, as it has inspired the wisest among us since time immemorial. Right now, the world moment has recreated, for the generations now extant, the need to put together these same two aspects of our intelligence: that of paying close attention to current events and pairing this attention with a Metaversal, cosmic outlook.

SATURNSDAY, JULY 14
This is a great New Moon to engage in healing work around your own childhood/family system issues. Most of us come at our adult lives based on our desire to recreate or disengage from our family patterns of behavior. Astrology is a great tool for delineating introjected familial patterns of behavior that affect our behavior in current relationships. Once the issues there are many psychotherapeutic techniques for working on healing childhood trauma, and this is a great New Moon cycle to investigate issues of and methods for emotional healing. For those of you that have emotional issues with people who are no longer available, this is the New Moon to use the powerful psychic and intuitive power of Cancer to work on an energetic level and heal your own internal pain. Sometimes Cancer never knows when to cut the cords and stop trying to take care of other people. This is the right New Moon to take a hard look at your own patterns of neediness and codependency and let go of any strong attachments to constant worry. This is the right New Moon to begin letting go of old defense and protection mechanisms that may be doing you, and your relationships, more harm than good. With the Sun, Moon and Mercury in Cancer, we could all benefit from looking deeply at our thoughts that hook us into feelings of insecurity. Do you crave love as a way to fill up your own inner emptiness? Do you mother others as a way to bury your own inadequacies in feelings of power? Do you hold on to unhealthy relationships because of a deep sense of unworthiness? The answers to these important questions often teach us much about our own underlying motivations for being loved. Cancer is the zodiacal archetypal Mother.

This is a great New Moon to begin learning about the Sacred Feminine and incorporating this wisdom into your daily life and by extension, into our world. The Way of the Sacred Feminine is one of love, caring, understanding, compassion, peace and joy. Our world suffers from a lack of Her presence and Her values in our governmental, educational, business and religious institutions. It is of course our job to reinvigorate our workplaces, communities, schools and politics with Her wisdom. For those of you who use your intuitive skills in your work, this is certainly the time to start any new programs of study to increase your intuition, especially with Mercury (mind) in intuitive Cancer. Those of you who call yourselves healers and spiritual teachers should use this New Moon to look at your own motivations. Do you crave attention and get off on the neediness of others? Are you disempowering through advice-giving, rather than empowering a client's ability to find their own answers, their own inner healing? Mercury, Sun and Moon in Cancer require an honest appraisal of emotional agendas. And Venus/Saturn in Leo gives us all a chance to consider how much our own work as healers is rooted in a narcissistic need for love and attention. So don't be afraid to ask yourself these tough questions. In the end it can only benefit your clients.

I hope this isn't an awkward time to mention that the structural basis for all Light-specific work in the Metaverse is regular, disciplined connection to the No-Form, meditation, contemplation, what ever you want to call it, as long as it's deep. Supremely solitary in that heath of scrub. The Light-Specific state initiates itself with SOLITUDE, the gratifying element of being alone (if only for 20 minutes a day)... without which, true development is impossible. The point is to connect to your inner source of stability, the state of potentia, the No-Form, at least once a day. No-Form is not a goal or state of "spiritual arrival" (as some religions would have us believe), it is a highly practical, multi-purpose tool for dissolving our identification with the ego. If you want to play with us, this is the only rule. The foundation of our Lightcraft is built in Chaos, so you must maintain a firm foundation, or Chaos your life will be. Some of us need this connection four times a day (sunrise, true noon, sunset, true midnight). Some of us actually manage to do it four times a day. It is a choice you must make. I would do it for you if I could. Once a day is all that's required to maintain the Continuity function. Future generations of yourself will be glad this came to pass. The Lightcraft Academy, Yoga Ceremonial Magick, this astrology forecast, they all provide ritual technology for Self initiation. But the key word here is Self. D.I.Y

SUNDAY, JULY 15
The lively Leo Moon is enhanced by Moon’s trine to Jupiter, so this should be an active day and we’re ready to shine. Despite the weather, we’ll want to do something, probably something that will attract admiring attention—but it could be as simple as reading that good book we’ve been putting off. We’ll need to watch out for irritating a partner, or become irritated by self-oriented quirkiness or insistence on applying only our own values in joint endeavors. This problem could be most acute very late in the evening, or even early tomorrow morning. Astrologers throughout the ages have eloquently demonstrated that any and all terrestrial matters can be interpreted by decodin g the vicissitudes of the planets: the doings of everything from cabbages to kings are mapped out in the sky. Less obvious but equally true is the inverse of this parallel: the meaning of the doings of planets can be revealed by earthly events. In other words, we need to keep a sharp eye focused upon what is happening down here. Worldly matters are the other side of the coin implied by that most sacred of astrological laws: As Above, So Below. The Earth is a mirror of the sky as surely as the sky is a mirror of us. Current events, as tracked by politics, mirror celestial events, as tracked by astrology.

MONDAY, JULY 16
Mars is beginning to niggle the opposition of Saturn and Neptune, working up to creating an exact t-square in a week or so, while at the same time Moon passes over Neptune adding her longings to his aspirations. Again, we’re wrestling the problems of reaching a compromise between what we want to be true and what is. Since Moon occults Saturn, blocking his rays from reaching us Earthlings, the urge for the fanciful could be overly strong today, especially late afternoon to early evening, so watch your step. Moon catches up with Pluto at 8:55pm and goes Void of Course, carrying the opportunity to reinvigorate our resolve and innate power into early morning.

TUESDAY, JULY 17
Ah, to pass the summer in a state of torpor, induced artificially, by motor-driven resonators and metal tubes which arises directly from not understanding the true electrical alchemic priniciples of time compression at the end of solar ages- alchemizes the heart- is because the charge densities which accompany the solar maxima (2000-2012-climax of the Mayan/Solar calendar) formerly called RAPTURE by Christians-permit only those biological structures ABLE to non-destructively (and ALCHEMICALLY) compress/implode-to survive. In a sense-being squeezed-teaches us the biological hygiene techniques for immortality of infinite compression/acceleration through the heart of the Sun (When the phase fronts of biological magnetics-particulary the ultraviolet component of DNA emissions-blue fire-interface with the superluminal-faster than the speed of light-the resultant electrical sustainability is the physics of immortality/ensoulment).

The Moon is in Virgo today. This is an excellent time to assess how well we are taking care of ourselves on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. As the evolutionary pace quickens, it’s more important than ever to take good care of our multidimensional vehicle. Listen to your body; all aches and pains are sources of information-indicators that something is demanding our attention. When was the last time you had a heart-to heart- talk with your body? Thanked it for it’s 24/7 service? Remembering the miraculous service of the body, brings us to another important item on the Virgo agenda: the development of humility. True humility is not self-effacement or self-deprecation. But rather the absence of ego, a state of adaptibility and openess. Planets traveling through Virgo show us that there is always more to learn-that perfection is an ongoing process, not a static state. Every human is born with a third dimensional body and a fourth dimensional Lightcraft. The physical body is the biological conductor. The Lightcraft is the time transport unit. The body and its Lightcraft are inseperable. The biological conductor sustains the sensory nervous system, the human instrument for processing the full range of experience. The experience of the body is synchronized within the Meteveral Lightcraft. The Lightcraft is the physical body’s coded experience in time. The body in time with its Lightcraft is art.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 18
The Day of Mercury in the Week of Fire finds the fleet-footed one in the sign of Cancer. Where Mercury is present, there are no boundaries to ideas. You can take mine into your head as if they were your own. Mercury reminds us that there is a certain dissolving of ownership, a “communion”, in all communication and learning. Of the mind, what can we say is genuinely ours and ours alone? Ultimately, all language is a kind of mimetic thievery: the acquisition of most knowledge requires liberal stealing from the wisdom and experience of others. The incenses attributed to Mercury and the sephirah Hod are Storax and fresh White-out. The Power of Mercury in Atziluth(Fire) is THE ABILITY TO CONCEPTUALIZE. Mercury is the Word, the Logos in the highest, the direct means of connection between polarities: yet he is in himself indifferent to all things, as the electrick current is indifferent to the meaning of the messages which are transmitted by its means. Mercury teaches(by demonstration), the animation of Eidolons, the magick indwelling of icons by Spirit.

KHATE: new interview + single review

Interview with KHATE by Raymond Cummings

“Swamp Bridge” REVIEW from Paper Thin Walls

Ray also writes articles and reviews for Signal To Noise magazine on occasion, and published a really nice one on WTBTN a few months back. I was so happy when Khate emailed that he was doing an interview with her for his blog.

Also, the month before she got a cool review of her new single, "Swamp Bridge", from Paper Thin Walls who also reviewed WTBTN last year, featuring yet another artist on the compilation, Jessica Rylan who pitched in to the review with an awesome recording she did using the WTBTN Noise Cookie.

It's really nice to see the network of creativity flourish and continue to grow... makes doing these sorta projects all the more worthwhile...

It could be a shinier, happier world...

Apparently, in the world of TOTO products, this formula is the key:

A Clean Bottom = Pure Enlightenment

My dad passed this one to me earlier (thanks, Dad)... I left their website at the point where all of the faces have loaded their little movies, and they all just sit there smiling and making silent facial gestures until you click something. It's really eerie.
