Also, what is the frakkin' deal with the iPod commercials showing all of the freaky-happy-dancing fools jiggling around with their white cords dangling, doing handstands, flips, spinning madly around--- all the while those fuckin' UNCOMFORTABLE white earbuds stay firmly in place. Do they have'em superglued into their ears or what?

I also like the company's kalishnikov player, apparently made from a real AK-47 magazine.
I downloaded 'The Communist Manifesto' from their site and got a chuckle from the download window: "You are downloading The Communist Manifesto" with a default disclosure that it's advertisment free. It would be funny to download it from the iTunes store and have it laden with DRM.
I am a long-time mac user, but am turned off by both their 'business model' and the extreme disappointment with the switch to the Intel chip. It's made my life a living hell as none of the Adobe line of graphics tools work well anymore.

I commiserate with you, comrade. We haven't upgraded any of our mac's yet to those with the Intel chip (shudder) but when we do (and it will inevitably be soon) we'll be running into the same problems with the Adobe tools and probably a lot of our audio software as well.
I'm going to head back and download the 'Communist Manifesto' now-- I hadn't noticed that or gone any further than Kalashnikov Girl before, thanks for the tip!
